Forecast Snow Stability: New snow amounts overnight are not expected to be significant. Mild and damp conditions by morning will soften and moisten the snowpack in many areas. General snowpack stability will be good in most areas. Localised surface instabilities will exist in summit gully exits and around corrie rims but these areas are not expected to be deep or extensive and should in the main be avoidable. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A trace of new snow will affect the highest slopes overnight this will turn to light rain or drizzle by morning. Winds will be East-South-East strong overnight decreasing to moderate through the day. The Freezing level will be well above the summits throughout the period. Observed Weather Influences: Dry and milder conditions have affected the area today, the freezing level has risen above the summits. Winds have been fresh to strong South-Easterly. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is generally stable with localised surface instabilities in the tops of summit gullies and around wind sheltered corrie rims, any remaining cornices are fragile. The avalanche hazard is Low.
