Avalanche Summary

No new avalanches have been observed in the past 3 days. A field team in the Fidelity area observed small, loose surface sluffs running fast on steep rolls.

Snowpack Summary

Expect a weak surface crust on steep terrain facing the sun. Widespread surface hoar is present from valley bottom up into the Alpine on most aspects.

The height of snow at treeline is approx. 80cm, which is 40cm below average. Many rocks/trees lurk at and just below the snow surface.

The base of the snowpack consists of weak, sugary facets.
