Avalanche Problems

Storm Slabs

Soft slab and loose snow avalanches are the main concern today. Several sz 2.5 avalanches were stubborn to trigger by artillery yesterday. The hazard will rise to HIGH on Sunday as moderate to heavy precipitation is forecast to begin tonight.

Lingering windslabs remain a concern following strong wind earlier this week.
