Avalanche Activity

Moderate avalanche danger will prevail.

Moist and wet avalanches require caution. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular at the base of rock walls, and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The wind slabs are in isolated cases prone to triggering. Avalanches can be released, mostly by large loads.

Snowpack Structure

Weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on shady slopes. The weather conditions gave rise to moistening of the snowpack, especially at low and intermediate altitudes. In general, the snow cover is gradually thinning and varies depending on altitude and exposure.

Tendency

Light precipitation.
