A light snowfall has only slightly improved ski quality.
Lower hazard makes it possible to explore bigger terrain, with good planning.
Be sure your gear and groups ability is ready for skiing firm snow.
Wed: Flurries tapering off in the morning, followed by partially cloudy skies. Alpine temps -4 with low to moderate ridgetop winds
Thurs: Partially cloudy with alpine temps rising to -1. Winds S-X SW winds
Friday: Flurries with alpine temps +1 and S W winds.
8cm new snow overlies wind pressed surfaces. A new crust from this weeks warm temps exists up to 2000m and higher on solar aspects. Well settled midpack, with facets above Dec 4 crust, buried 150-200 cm, above Nov layers.
