Snowpack Summary

10-30 cm of low density snow sits above old hard surfaces including wind-affected snow and crusts. The low density snow may sluff easily above crusts on steep south-facing slopes. Thin wind slabs may be found in the alpine. The lower snowpack is strong and settled.
