Forecast Weather Influences: For most o the night showers will fall as snow above 1000 metres on Gale force South-Westerly winds. Before dawn the winds veer North-Easterly and the freezing level suddenly drops with showers turning to snow above 400 metres. The freezing level continues to fall to reach 200 metres by the end of the day as showers clear to leave a dry afternoon.
