25 to 40 cm of snow will fall until Tuesday above approximately 2000 m. As a consequence of new snow and a moderate to strong wind from westerly directions, wind slabs will form. They represent the main danger. Dry avalanches are to be expected from the second half of the night, in particular medium-sized ones. Additionally in some places avalanches can be released in deep layers and reach large size in isolated cases. Even single winter sport participants can release avalanches. These avalanche prone locations are to be found in all aspects above approximately 2000 m. Backcountry touring and other off-piste activities call for caution and restraint.

15 to 30 cm of snow fell in the last two days. The sometimes strong wind has transported the new snow. Adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas and at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions a little snow is lying. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack in all aspects. At low and intermediate altitudes less snow than usual is lying.

The snowpack remains generally unfavourable.
