Highlights
The avalanche danger remains generally LOW. Human triggered avalanches are unlikely. Hitting rocks, stumps, and logs under the shallow snow pack remains the biggest threat.
Snow and Weather
General Conditions: The weather this winter is truly dumbfounding. We continue to have daytime high temperatures into the upper 30s and low 40s. The wind has been almost nonexistent over the last 24 hours. Snow surface conditions are nothing to write home about.
Mountain Weather: It is going to be another day with high temperatures pushing 40° F and light wind from the southwest.
We will have more mild weather through the weekend and then it does look like a more active pattern will start moving in next week which could produce some snow.
