The new snow is very loosely bonded.

New snow at low altitude. 10 to 20 cm of snow will fall until late morning in all altitude zones. As a consequence of the snowfall natural dry avalanches are possible as the day progresses, but they will be mostly small, especially on extreme slopes. As a consequence of new snow and a moderate wind, sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs will form in the afternoon. The wind slabs are bonding only slowly with the old snowpack in particular on north to northeast to south facing aspects above approximately 2400 m. These can be released. The avalanche prone locations are to be found on very steep slopes and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls, in particular in the regions neighbouring those that are subject to danger level 3 (considerable).

Some snow will fall until late morning. The upper section of the snowpack is unfavourably layered, especially at intermediate and high altitudes. Towards its base, the snowpack is largely stable. As a consequence of falling temperatures a crust formed on the surface on Saturday. Below approximately 2400 m the snowpack is more stable.

The avalanche danger will persist.
