Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The snowpack will be firm and stable in most locations. Isolated soft snow accumulations will remain on South-West through West to North aspects above 1000 metres, where any instabilities will persist. These are mostly shallow and avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Moderate to fresh in strength Northerly winds. A slight chance of some light snow showers throughout the day, but no significant accumulations are expected. Strong temperature inversion overnight, then the freezing level will be around 800m throughout the day. Observed Weather Influences: A dry and calm day with light Northerly winds. The midday summit temperature was minus 3 degrees C. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is firm and stable in most locations.
