Avalanche Activity

Significant warming to 3000 m. The mostly small wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence in particular on steep shady slopes.

As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of natural moist avalanches being released will increase in particular on steep sunny slopes. Gliding avalanches are possible. The wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads,. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. In particular on steep slopes individual avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

In some regions only a little snow is lying. The weather conditions will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

Tendency

The weather will be mild.
