Highlights
New soft slabs have formed up to a foot in depth at upper elevations on steep wind loaded slopes. These slabs lie on a crust and although generally bonding well to that crust could be released by backcountry users on steep slopes. If triggered these slabs might initially be low in volume but could sweep a skier over a cliff/rocky area or into a terrain trap. At mid elevations isolated pockets of these slabs could be found in steep areas. At low elevations snowfall was light and avalanches are not expected.
