Highlights

Pockets of soft surface slab up to 18 inches in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations on a variety of aspects. Deep slab instabilities also persist at these elevations. Two days ago a four foot deep hard slab was skier triggered on a north northeasterly aspect of Rendezvous Peak at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Yesterday a 12 inch deep pocket of soft slab was skier triggered on approach at an elevation of 9,500 in the Game Creek drainage. Similar events could be human triggered today on steeper wind loaded aspects. Loose snow sluffs could also be triggered on steeper slopes and sunlit aspects.
