Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong and gusty winds will form new dense slabs up to two feet in depth on a shallow snowpack underlain by a weak basal layer of faceted snow. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered on steep wind loaded aspects and have the potential to step to the ground. Natural activity is possible.
