Highlights

Recent snow and wind have created pockets of slabs up to 18" in depth on lee slopes. Below this new snow at mid and upper elevations, DANGEROUS dense slabs up to 5 feet in depth lie upon layers of low density snow and slick sliding surfaces. These slabs continue to be triggered by skiers especially in steep, wind loaded starting zones and cliffs areas.
