The snowpack is mostly stable with the exception of weak layers that persist near the ground. In isolated areas some potential may remain for larger triggers such as snow machines or groups of snow machines to trigger a hard slab avalanche up to six feet deep on a very steep upper elevation avalanche path.

The southerly flow will bring moisture into the region with areas of snow increasing from south to north tonight through Monday. One to two inches of snow is forecasted for mountainous areas by Monday morning with another two inches during the day. Mountain temperatures will rise from the upper teens in the morning to the low twenties during the day and winds will be southwesterly at 15 miles per hour along the summit ridges.The general avalanche hazard will be MODERATE. Some potential may remain for users to trigger deep, hard slabs up to six feet in depth in a few very steep, higher elevation avalanche paths. Larger triggers such as snowmachines or many people on a slope may be necessary to start one of these deep, hard slabs.
