Highlights

At the upper elevations new soft slabs one to two feet in depth lie upon excellant sliding surfaces. These slabs could be human triggered or release naturally. Isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth could be human triggered in steep wind loaded mid elevation starting zones. At the lower elevations the snowpack is shallow and avalanches are unlikely. Loose snow sluffs could be triggered or release naturally today on steep mid and upper elevation slopes.
