Avalanche Summary

Small avalanches have been triggered recently where stiff wind slabs have formed in cross-loaded terrain. Look for and avoid firm, hollow-sounding, recently drifted snow on steep, exposed slopes. Deeper drifts are more likely on northeast, east, and southeast-facing slopes; however, cross-loaded terrain features can be found on all slopes.
