Highlights

Temperatures in the mountains dropped into the low 30's overnight. These values are generally five degrees warmer than they were yesterday morning and ten degrees warmer than they were Sunday morning. Crusts that formed overnight are expected to soften early. The avalanche hazard will be LOW in the early morning hours, increase to MODERATE before midday and to CONSIDERABLE in the afternoon. Wet slides could be human triggered or release naturally on steep slopes after snow surfaces soften.
