( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )As a trough of low pressure over the Pacific Northwest approaches the area, snow showers are expected to develop Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday. High temperatures in the mid twenties are expected at higher elevations while lower elevations reach the mid thirties. Light winds are expected throughout the day.The General Avalanche Danger for the three forecast areas is expected to be LOW. Isolated pockets of surface slabs to one foot in depth could be human triggered on steep wind loaded slopes near exposed ridges above 9000 feet. If prolonged periods of sunlight and significant warming occur the sensitivity of these slabs will increase and wet loose slides will become possible at all elevations.
