Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is LOW at all elevations this morning and will rise to MODERATE as increasing temperatures and sunlight soften the snow surface. As the snow surface softens, the snowpack will weaken, providing for the possibility of wet slides in steep snow covered terrain. The remote possibility of triggering a dry slab avalanche on buried weak layers will also increase with warming today on very steep shaded slopes.
