Avalanche Summary

You can trigger small avalanches in the recent snow. Most will be small, but in steep confined terrain like couloirs, even a small slide can knock you off your feet. Look for pockets of wind-drifted snow below ridgelines and in concave couloirs and pay attention to the snow surface warming. A wet gloppy surface, rollerballs, and small avalanches running off steep rocky terrain is a since wet hazard is on the rise. Once you see these signs, move to a cooler aspect or call it a day.
