Avalanche Summary
Avalanche conditions are generally safe. There is a small chance you can trigger an avalanche on steep slopes at upper elevations. Northerly and east-facing slopes harbor deeper drifts. Wind-drifted snow can look rounded, pillowy, and sounds hollow. Cracking in the new snow is a sign of instability and a good indicator to move to wind-sheltered lower-angle slopes.
