Forecast Snow Stability: The patchy snowpack will continue to thaw at all levels, and will be generally stable. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. Greatest accumulations of snow will lie on North through East to South-East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Winds will be moderate, generally Southerly. The freezing level will remain above all summits. Rain is expected at all levels through the night followed by a mainly dry day until mid-afternoon when there will be further rain. Observed Weather Influences: During the morning the freezing level rose above all summits. After a dry morning light rain fell at all levels during the afternoon.
