Wet avalanches as the day progresses.
The early morning will see quite favourable conditions mostly. The mostly small wind slabs are in individual cases still prone to triggering. Wind slabs can in isolated cases be released, in particular by large loads. These are clearly recognisable. In the late morning as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be a gradual increase in the danger of wet avalanches. On extremely steep slopes small and medium sized avalanches are possible.
Snowpack Structure
The wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. They are in isolated cases prone to triggering at elevated altitudes. These are mostly small. On Tuesday it will be very mild. The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will soften quickly. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to increasing moistening of the snowpack. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes hardly any snow is lying.
Tendency
The conditions are spring-like. Increase in danger of wet avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.
