Dry slab avalanches and moist snow slides during the day are the main danger.
Dry slab avalanches and moist snow slides during the day are the main danger.
Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be quite good. As a consequence of warming during the day, the likelihood of natural wet avalanches being released will increase gradually in particular on steep southeast and southwest facing slopes at intermediate altitudes. The sometimes large wind slabs of last week must be evaluated with care and prudence in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 3000 m.
Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise from the middle of the day to increasing moistening of the snowpack in particular on steep sunny slopes above approximately 1600 m.
