Fresh snow over the past 24 hours with 20cm in the West and 10cm further East.
Strong North East to Easterly winds are possible and they may transport snow.
Be on the lookout for pockets of Wind Slab and avoid them.
New snow and strong North East to Easterly winds may create Wind Slab. Be particularly wary of slopes facing South East through to West above about 1700m. Stay clear of ridge line entry points and other steep unsupported slopes if you encounter stiff, wind driven snow.

Some fresh snow (15 - 20cm) in the West over the past 24 hours. 10cm further East. This new snow may be poorly bonded to the old surface at least, initially. The underlying pack is mostly well consolidated. Having said that, facets and depth hoar (weak, sugary forms) have been found in places. These pockets of questionable strength appear to be reasonably isolated and are most likely to exist on slopes facing East to South. You would be wise to do some investigation before committing to steep, shady terrain.
Sunday - scattered rain, falling as snow down to about 1200m. Moderate to strong North East to Easterly winds. Freezing level - 1800m dropping to 1500m at night. Periods of poor visibility are possible.
Some fresh snow over the past 24 hours will have reduced the sliding danger. However, keep in mind that the underlying pack remains shallow especially, at lower elevations. Rocks and icy areas may be lurking below a thin cover of fresh snow.
