Regular avalanche forecasts are now finished and we have transitioned to Spring Conditions.

Trails closer to the divide have more snow, hikers and scramblers should be aware that popular trails and routes are exposed to avalanche hazard.

Be sure to check out Avalanche Canada for recent MIN's and if you go out in the mountains in spring don't hesitate to post a MIN with photos of conditions.

Snowpack Summary

We have transitioned to spring conditions however winter-like storms that bring dry snow problems can occur well into summer.

The east end of the park is quickly becoming snow free in most areas however snowy conditions will persist for longer closer to the divide.
