As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase quickly in particular on steep sunny slopes. Moist and wet avalanches are possible as the day progresses, even medium-sized ones. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular at the base of rock walls and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The clearly visible wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads, in all aspects at high altitude. Backcountry tours should be concluded early.
The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. In some regions only a little snow is lying on south facing slopes. The mostly small wind slabs of the last few days have settled a little.
The weather will be mild.
