Forecast Weather Influences: It is expected to be dry throughout the period, though a few light showers are possible this evening. The summit air temperature will be below zero. Winds will be strong South-South-Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: During the morning there were some light showers falling as rain at most levels. The freezing level lowered to around 1200 metres. The wind was generally strong West-South-Westerly. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to consolidate at all levels.
