As a consequence of the strong foehn wind individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1800 m. Especially gullies and bowls are unfavourable.

Above approximately 1800 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The snowpack remains moist in all altitude zones. On Friday it will be mild. As a consequence of high temperatures, rain up to high altitudes and the foehn wind, a sometimes unfavourable avalanche situation will develop on Friday. These weather conditions will give rise to extreme and thorough wetting of the snowpack also in high Alpine regions. These conditions will cause a rapid weakening of the snow drift accumulations also at high altitude.
