Avalanche danger is primarily linked to high‑elevation terrain where precipitation falls as snow and strong winds form wind slabs in lee areas. Dry slab avalanches may be easy to trigger while the weather is at its worst, and some natural releases cannot be ruled out. However, the wind‑slabs are expected to stabilize quickly with the mild temperatures.
At lower elevations, the snowpack is well saturated after recent rain. Many wet avalanches have likely already released naturally, but caution is still advised in steep terrain with very wet snow.

Skredfaren er primært knyttet til områder høyt til fjells der nedbøren kommer som snø, og kraftig vind danner fokksnøflak i leområder. Tørre flakskred kan være mulig å løse ut mens været står på, og enkelte naturlig utløste skred kan ikke utelukkes. Fokksnøen forventes likevel å stabilisere seg raskt med de milde temperaturene.
I lavere terreng er snødekket gjennomfuktet etter mye regn de siste dagene. Mange våte skred har trolig allerede gått naturlig, men vær fortsatt oppmerksom i bratt terreng med svært våt snø.
Det har vært mye snøsmelting de siste dagene som følge av mildvær og regn. Snøgrensen ligger rundt 300-400 moh. de fleste steder. Snøoverflaten er preget av mildvær høyt til fjells.
Avalanche danger depends on where the snow showers hit. In areas that receive the most new snow combined with wind, fresh wind slabs may be easy to trigger. The danger is highest while the slabs are still fresh. In areas with little new snow, the avalanche danger will be lower.
If the sun breaks through during the day, it may weaken the fresh snow and cause a few small, naturally released wet avalanches in steep terrain. These are expected to be few and limited in size.
