Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. A few inches of new snow will not increase the avalanche danger. The few places where you might be able to trigger a small avalanche are on steep, wind-loaded slopes just below ridgelines. If you notice a hard, hollow feel to the snow and see cracks shooting away from your feet then you might be on a dangerous wind-loaded slope and you should move to another area or stay on slopes less than about 35 degrees steep.
