Avalanche Summary
If you were to trigger an avalanche, it would be on a slope steeper than about 35 degrees, where winds are drifting new and old snow into stiff, cohesive slabs. You will most likely find this at upper elevations near ridgelines and cross-loaded terrain features. Drifted slabs of snow may feel stiff or have a wave-like appearance.
