Avalanche Summary

Avalanches could break in the middle or bottom of the snowpack. Slopes with relatively deep or continuous snow could produce avalanches big enough to bury or injure you. The most problematic spots are below ridgelines, in drifted gullies, or on snow-filled, concave slopes. You might trigger avalanches from the bottom of slopes. Avoid steep slopes if you see cracking or hear collapsing.
