You might trigger an avalanche that breaks two to four feet deep on slopes steeper than about 30 degrees. The buried weak layers are becoming less reactive as the snowpack is adjusting to last week's storm snow. Consider your terrain choices carefully, and avoid places where even a short-running avalanche might push you over a cliff or debris might pile up deeply. Sticking to terrain less than about 30 degrees will help keep you safer.
