Avalanche Summary

Warm and dry weather leading to daily melt-freeze conditions means the avalanche conditions have become generally safe following last week's storm. Pay attention to warming snow and steer around steep slopes where you sink past your ankles. At the highest elevations, look out for small drifts of still-transitioning storm snow at the top of couloirs or cross-loaded terrain features. Triggering a small avalanche can be dangerous if it sweeps you off your feet.
