Avalanche Summary
Start your day early and end early to avoid any issues with wet avalanches. Stick to slopes not directly in the sun and carefully plan your egress. Don't get stuck needing to descend steep slopes late in the day. If you find yourself sinking past your boot tops into wet snow or see loose wet avalanches running from steep rocky terrain, it's time to find a cooler slope to recreate or call it a day. Be careful above terrain traps such as steep couloirs or cliffs where even a small avalanche can knock you down and send you for a dangerous ride.
Watch for changing conditions and increasing avalanche danger Thursday and Friday as a spring storm moves into the area.
