Highlights
New snow and forecasted heavy snowfall with strong winds will create an increasing hazard through the day. Older light density snow and faceted snow underlies the new accumulation which will make deepening slabs easy to trigger. Smooth suncrusts on South facing slopes will also make for easily triggered slides. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended today.
