The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the morning and increase to MODERATE at the upper elevations during the warmer portion of the day. Wet loose slides involving the recent new snow are possible on very steep slopes. These point slides could be triggered by skiers or riders or release naturally of a variety of aspects after temperatures rise. Isolated pockets of wind slab up to a foot in depth could also be triggered in some upper elevation avalanche starting zones, steep couloirs and cliff areas. Evaluate terrain and conditions carefully and avoid terrain where even small slides can be consequential. This is the last morning advisory of the season. Until mid-June the avalanche center will continue to operate its network of remote weather stations, post daily summaries of the data from those stations, post avalanche events and field observations.
