Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are battered by the wind, and either lack enough continuous snow for larger avalanches, or the slabs are so hard that you won't be able to impact the weak layers beneath. You may still find remnant cracking and collapsing on steep slopes near and below treeline. Even though the danger is LOW (Level 1 of 5), cracking and collapsing are still indications of a weak snowpack and a reminder to be careful around steep slopes in similar areas.
