Avalanche Summary

You can trigger a dangerous avalanche on high-elevation slopes facing northwest through north to east. Don't expect to see any obvious signs of instability, such as cracking or collapsing, before triggering an avalanche large enough to bury you on these aspects of concern. You might be able to trigger an avalanche from a distance, so watch for steep slopes above you as well. Safer travel options exist by sticking to low-elevation slopes below the treeline or on sunny slopes in the morning before they get warm and wet later in the day.
