Avalanche Summary

Watch for a rising avalanche danger as new snow and strong winds build fresh slabs in steep terrain. Northerly winds will distribute snow on a range of east-to-south aspects. The most dangerous slopes will be where these slabs form over hardened old snow surfaces on slopes over around 35 degrees in steepness. Avoid these areas, and you will significantly reduce your chances of taking a nasty ride into consequential terrain features further down the slope.
