Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard remains MODERATE. The possibility continues for snowmobilers and skiers to trigger full depth avalanches in steep avalanche terrain involving a weak layer of faceted snow that persists at the base of the snowpack. This situation is problematic as the snowpack can support significant traffic before failing to the ground. Isolated pockets of soft, shallow surface slabs could also be triggered on steep wind loaded aspects.
