Highlights

At the upper elevations soft slabs to eighteen inches in depth lie upon excellent sliding surfaces. Many of these slabs released naturally during the storm Monday.Remaining slabs could be human triggered. At mid elevations isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth could be human triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. At the lower elevations the snowpack is shallow and avalanches are unlikely.
