Highlights

Yesterday a two foot deep wet slab was reported to have occured before noon on an easterly aspect of Wolf Mountain in the Snake River Range at an elevation of 9700 feet. With warmer temperatures in the forecast wet loose slides, cornice drops and wet slabs up to two feet in depth are possible as temperatures rise. Be aware of the increase in the hazard as the day warms and the snowpack softens. Avoid steep sunlit aspects, cliff areas and corniced slopes during the warmer portions of the day.
