Highlights
Winds over the weekend created slabs to 18 inches in depth over a slick sun crust on East to South aspects. These slabs could be released today by backcountry users. A skier skied out of such a slide yesterday below the Great White Hump near Teton Pass. Sunday two separate but similar slides in aspect, elevation, and proximity released on Taylor Mtn. each carrying one skier. Both skiers survived. Temperatures yesterday were not warm enough to eliminate this hazard.Today sloughs on sunlit aspects could develop into larger slides as the day warms. Avalanches are unlikely at low elevations today. .
