Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. DANGEROUS slab avalanches up to six feet in depth could be easily triggered or release naturally on steep wind loaded slopes above 8,500 feet which are underlain by hard old snow surfaces. Surface slabs up to several feet in depth could also be triggered on other steep wind loaded aspects. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
