Highlights

New soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth put in by southerly winds have formed at the mid and upper elevations. These slabs lie upon excellent sliding surfaces and could be easily triggered today. Deep slab instability persists and older slabs 2 to 4 feet in depth could also be triggered and step to the ground surface. Loose snow sluffs are expected on steep terrain where slabs have not formed.
